Howdy! I am a PhD student in The University of Texas at Austin's Electrical and Computer Engineering department specializing in Software Engineering. I am advised by the amazing Christine Julien who directs the Mobile and Pervasive Computing Lab and the Pharos Lab.
My current research focuses on the design and development of middleware for mobile computing. Specifically, I am designing distributed search algorithms and data modeling techniques for short-lived information in device-to-device networked mobile environments.
I earned an M.S. degree in 2012 from The University of Texas at Austin. I graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington in 2010 specializing in embedded systems. As an undergraduate I did research in the Ubicomp Lab and the Autonomous Flight Systems Laboratory.
I enjoy hacking, tinkering with mobile phones, The Who, and just about anything that goes fast.
