Howdy! I recently earned a PhD in Software Engineering from the The University of Texas at Austin's Electrical and Computer Engineering department. I was advised by the amazing Christine Julien who directs the Mobile and Pervasive Computing Lab and the Pharos Lab.
My research focused on mobile applications that need to access digital information that is physically nearby. Specifically, I developed distributed query mechanisms and data modeling techniques to support searching and sharing of short-lived information in a device-to-device fashion.
I earned an M.S. degree in 2012 from The University of Texas at Austin. I graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington in 2010 specializing in embedded systems. As an undergraduate I did research in the Ubicomp Lab and the Autonomous Flight Systems Laboratory.
I enjoy hacking, tinkering with mobile phones, The Who, and just about anything that goes fast.
